I have probably known about the Taj Mahal since I had been 7 years old it is one of the iconic monuments whose form is burned into the world imagery at childhood days. I hardly ever really considered actually viewing it, until I prepared this visit to Asia. Certainly, if I would India, I would go to the Taj Mahal - you have to right?

My travel mates and I were actually more willing to miss the Taj than you may imagine. The sketch of the traditional "sightseeing" vacation spot is not especially strong for me personally, or my friends, for reasons unknown. I don't happen to be "say I am there" or show people pictures of myself before some monument (sorry, I want to just dismount from my high - horse real quick).
